Angers laughed: "How come I'm the only old guy who can eat spicy food?"

Old Wang leaned against the grill, smoking, watching the group devour their food in a flash. He snorted, "Eat slowly, no one's going to take it from you."

With his mouth full of shrimp, Lu Mingfei asked indistinctly, "Uncle Wang, if you have this skill, why don't you open a chain store?"

"I find it tiring," Old Wang said, exhaling a smoke ring. "Besides..."

He glanced at Angers. "Some guests are best served in person at the shop."

After a hearty meal, with only soft drinks and no alcohol, Lu Mingfei slumped in his chair, patting his round belly: "Life is complete."

Xia Mi poked his stomach: "Senior Brother Lu, stop lying down, get up and eat some toasted bread slices!"

Frillie had already silently eaten three pieces and reached for the fourth.

Angers looked at her and asked, "Do you like this?"

Frillie nodded: "It's sweet and crunchy, Uncle Wang's cooking is excellent."

Old Wang snorted: "Young lady, you have good taste. Angers, you should learn from her."

Chu Zihang asked, "Principal, what is your daily life like?"

Angers smiled and said, "Drink whiskey, eat steak, and go to dances."

"This is boring!" Xia Mi pouted.

“Yes, it’s really boring,” Angers said, looking at the dim streetlights at the end of the alley. “So it’s not bad to eat at a roadside stall with young people once in a while.”

As night deepened, the lively atmosphere of the streets still lingered.

Lu Mingfei, burping, followed behind Angers: "Principal, can we come again next time?"

"It depends on your performance," Angers said, opening the car door. "If the next mission goes smoothly."

Frillie was still clutching a half-eaten slice of toasted bread. "I'll supervise Lu Mingfei."

Xia Mi jumped into the car with a grin: "I'm going to recommend this place to my friends!"

As Angers started the car, the neon lights of "Old Wang's Barbecue" gradually disappeared into the distance in the rearview mirror.

Lu Mingfei slumped in his seat, sighing contentedly, "Tonight was perfect. Fingel would definitely cry if he heard this."

Xia Mi grinned, "Headmaster, Headmaster, I'll take you to eat hot pot next time!"

Angers smiled and stepped on the gas: "I couldn't be happier. I'll take everyone to Six Flags amusement park tomorrow."

Chapter 68 Amusement Park

Angers leaned against a modified off-road vehicle, his gleaming leather shoes tapping rhythmically on the ground. Today, he was wearing a blue polo shirt and beige casual pants, making him look at least twenty years younger.

"Principal, are you driving yourself?" Chu Zihang was the first to arrive, carrying his ever-present tennis bag, which of course didn't contain tennis rackets.

Angers pulled his car keys out of his pocket and twirled them between his fingers. "What, you don't trust my driving skills?"

"That's not what I meant," Chu Zihang said, putting his tennis bag into the trunk.

"Good morning, Principal and Senior Brother!" Lu Mingfei jogged over, carrying two large bags of snacks, with Frilian following behind him.

Wearing a light green dress and a small sunflower hair clip, Frillie looked especially like a girl next door today, according to Lu Mingfei.

"I brought potato chips, chocolate, and bear-shaped cookies," Lu Mingfei said, showing off the snacks as if they were his own treasures. "And there's also the candied fruit that Frillie made herself; it's sweet and sour and very delicious."

Frillie nodded and took out a jar from her small cloth bag, which contained a few slightly shiny candied fruits.

Chu Zihang stared at the candied fruit for two seconds, wondering if he could make some for his mother when he got home. "Thank you."

"Where's Xia Mi?" Angers glanced at his watch. "We agreed to meet at eight o'clock sharp."

As soon as she finished speaking, she said, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!"

Xia Mi stopped abruptly, panting, her ponytail flying high from running. "I stayed up all night watching dramas last night, and I didn't hear my alarm clock ring three times!"

Angers smiled tolerantly. "Get in the car. Xia Mi, would you like to sit in the passenger seat?"

Xia Mi waved her hand, "I'll sit in the back, let Senior Brother Chu sit."

Frilian and Xia Mi sat in the back seat, while Lu Mingfei naturally sat in the middle of the back row.

With engines roaring, the SUV merged into the morning traffic.

Angers turned on the stereo, and surprisingly, it was playing the latest popular electronic music.

"Principal, I didn't expect you to say that." Lu Mingfei swallowed the words back.

“I never thought an old man like me would listen to such trendy music?” Angers laughed. “I can listen to anything. One of the benefits of living a long life is that you can witness all the ‘trendy things’ turn into ‘nostalgic past’.”

Xia Mi leaned against the window, watching the city lights flash by, and asked, "Headmaster, why are you taking us to the amusement park?"

Angers tapped his fingers lightly on the steering wheel. "Students in Kassel shouldn't just know how to fight and kill; they also need to experience the lives of ordinary people."

Lu Mingfei secretly glanced at Frillian beside him, who was looking out at the skyscrapers.

"Want some?" Lu Mingfei asked in a low voice, handing over a bag of potato chips.

Frillie took it, tore open the packaging, took out a piece, and put it in her mouth. "Barbecue flavor?"

“Yes, barbecue flavor,” Lu Mingfei said, rattling off the details. “I remember you liked this flavor.”

Frillie nodded seriously and took another slice. "Actually, I also like tomato and cucumber flavors."

Chu Zihang took out a thermos from his backpack, poured a cup of tea, and handed it to Xia Mi. "Here, have a sip."

Xia Mi took it, smelled it, and exclaimed, "Wow, it's jasmine tea! Senior brother, how did you know I like this?"

"This is what you drank at the library last Wednesday afternoon," Chu Zihang replied calmly.

Lu Mingfei and Angers exchanged a glance, and the latter raised an eyebrow almost imperceptibly.

As the car crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, Lu Mingfei pointed to the Ferris wheel in the distance and asked, "Shall we ride that later?"

"This is the Ferris wheel at Six Flags amusement park!" Xia Mi excitedly turned around and explained, "We'll ride it in a bit!"

“Looking down from a high place,” Frilian murmured to herself, “like looking down at Midgard from the top of the World Tree.”

"Central courtyard?" Lu Mingfei didn't quite understand the meaning of this word.

“In Norse mythology, the world inhabited by humans,” Angers began, “is said to be connected by the World Tree, which connects the nine worlds, with the Central Garden located in the center.”

“We’re almost there,” Angers said, pointing ahead.

The entrance to Six Flags theme park is like the entrance to a fairy tale world, with colorful balloons floating around and cheerful music playing from the speakers.

Even though it's a weekday, the place is packed with people. Children are skipping and jumping with their parents' hands, couples are holding hands, and teenagers are laughing and playing in groups of three or five.

"Wow!" Xia Mi was the first to jump off the bus, like a bird released from its cage. "I want to ride the roller coaster! The drop tower! The giant swing!"

Chu Zihang silently walked to her side and handed her a bottle of sunscreen. "The ultraviolet rays are harsh."

Angers locked the car, clapped his hands, and said, "Alright, I suggest we split into groups. Chu Zihang, you'll be in charge of teaching Xia Mi's new students. Take this opportunity to provide one-on-one guidance."

"Yes, Principal," Chu Zihang nodded.

“Lu Mingfei, you’re paired with Frilian.” Angers winked. “Have fun.”

"I guarantee I'll complete the mission! What are you going to do, Principal?" Lu Mingfei gave an exaggerated salute, which earned him a puzzled look from Frilian.

"Meet in two hours." Angers glanced at his watch. "I'm going to a themed café run by an old friend. Contact me if you have any questions."

The group assignments were settled. Xia Mi eagerly tugged at Chu Zihang's sleeve, "Senior brother, which one should we go to first?"

Chu Zihang looked around, his gaze settling on the slowly rotating Ferris wheel. "A Ferris wheel is perfect for chatting."

Lu Mingfei and Frilian watched Chu Zihang and Xia Mi leave. Lu Mingfei scratched his head and asked, "How about we start with the carousel?"

Frillie pointed to the rapidly descending drop tower, "I want to ride that."

Lu Mingfei's face turned pale instantly. "This might not be suitable for a first time."

Frillie walked toward the drop tower, and Lu Mingfei had no choice but to follow, silently praying that he wouldn't throw up on Frillie.

As the Ferris wheel cabin slowly ascended, Xia Mi leaned against the window, watching the ground recede into the distance.

"So beautiful!" she said, turning back to Chu Zihang with a smile. "Looking down from here, the cars below look so small!"

"Hmm. Have you finished reading Chapter Three of 'Dragon Family Genealogy'?"

Xia Mi's smile froze for a second, then she sighed, "Senior brother, discussing studies in such a romantic place?"

"This is teaching time," Chu Zihang said, his expression remaining unchanged.

“Alright, alright,” Xia Mi raised her hands in surrender. “Chapter Three is about the White King’s rebellion, which led to the largest civil war in the history of the Dragon Clan.”

"Stop," Chu Zihang interrupted her. "This isn't about reciting, it's about understanding. Tell me, why is the White King's rebellion so unique?"

Xia Mi tilted her head in thought. "Because the White King was the first to usurp the throne?"

"Yes. Also because the White King was the first being created by the Black King, and he shares the power of the world with him," Chu Zihang nodded.

With a "click," the cockpit shook slightly, and Xia Mi lost her balance and fell forward.

Chu Zihang reacted quickly, supporting her shoulder with one hand and bracing himself against the glass window with the other. Their faces were very close, and Xia Mi could clearly see her reflection in Chu Zihang's pupils.

"Thank you, senior brother," she said softly.

Chu Zihang was also stunned. They remained in that position until the Ferris wheel turned a little further.

In the end, Chu Zihang was the first to let go, returned to his seat, cleared his throat, and continued his lecture: "The White King's usurpation failed, and the Black King devoured the White King, recreating the four great monarchs."

Xia Mi tidied her hair and asked, "Senior brother, do you believe in the 'fall of Midgard' theory?"

"That's a concept from Norse mythology, referring to the collapse of the World Tree during Ragnarok, which caused the nine realms to collide. Why ask that?"

"It's nothing," Xia Mi said, looking out the window. "It just feels like we're standing at such a high place, like the gods looking down from the top of the World Tree at the Central Courtyard."

"If we use this analogy, I am the cunning Loki, and you are Eden, the goddess whose apple was stolen."

Xia Mi's eyes widened. "Senior brother, you actually joked?!"

The Ferris wheel stopped, and the cabins were suspended at the highest point.

An apologetic voice came over the loudspeaker, saying it was a temporary malfunction and asking everyone to remain calm.

The cabin swayed slightly, and Xia Mi instinctively grabbed Chu Zihang's arm.

"It's fine."
