Lu Mingfei chuckled twice and hid behind Frillie: "Haha, the exam is about to start. Next time, next time we'll show you."

Frillie remained calm and politely responded to the conversations of several new students. She was wearing her Kassel school uniform today and looked no different from any other student.

"Lu Mingfei," a familiar voice came from nearby.

Lu Mingfei looked around. Zero stood not far away, calmly watching him with her icy blue eyes.

"Zero?" Lu Mingfei was taken aback. "You're here to take the exam too?"

Zero nodded: "All freshmen must participate."

Before Lu Mingfei could say anything more, Professor Manstein walked up to the podium and tapped the blackboard: "Everyone, take your seats according to your student ID numbers!"

When the exam papers were handed out, Lu Mingfei looked down and saw that they were blank.

"What the hell?" he muttered to himself.

Professor Manstein pressed play, and a deep, ancient chanting voice came from the speakers.

Ancient dragon script.

In an instant, the examination room erupted in chaos.

"Mom—no!" someone screamed, clutching their head.

"God! Save me!" a student cried out, kneeling on the ground.

"For the Emperor—!" A certain chuunibyou (middle school syndrome) patient flipped the table.

Lu Mingfei looked around blankly. Most people were struggling in pain, only Zero, Frilian and a few students were relatively calm.

Wait, why don't I feel anything?

He looked down at his exam paper. Hmm? Faint golden patterns appeared on it.

Then, his vision blurred.

When Lu Mingfei opened his eyes again, he found himself sitting in an empty movie theater.

Scarlet seats, dim lighting, and the words "Coming Soon" flashing on the screen.

"Brother, you've finally arrived," a childish voice came from behind.

Lu Mingfei turned around abruptly and saw a boy in a black suit standing in the aisle, holding a bucket of popcorn.

The boy had a similar face, but his eyes were golden, and his lips had a half-smile.

"Who are you?" Lu Mingfei asked warily.

"Lu Mingze," the boy tilted his head, "your younger brother."

"Impossible!" Lu Mingfei blurted out, "My cousin Lu Mingze is a perfect square!"

Lu Mingze smiled: "He is him, and I am me. I am your younger brother."

Lu Mingze ignored his shock, sat down, and handed him popcorn: "Want to watch a movie?"

"Look," Lu Mingfei said, picking up two kernels of popcorn and tasting them. To be honest, they tasted pretty good.

The screen lights up.

Act I: The Lament of the Bronze and Fire King

Long, long ago, there was a boy who always thought he was a good-for-nothing. On his eighteenth birthday, he received a letter from Kassel College. From then on, his life was like a pumpkin carriage under a spell, heading towards an incredible distance.

In Kassel, he met a red-haired witch, befriended a stoic senior, and discovered that his roommate was a quirky guy who could make instant noodles look like a Manchu Han Imperial Feast.

That summer, Norton, the Bronze and Fire Lord, awoke from a thousand-year slumber and realized that he was a dragon, not a ridiculous bounty hunter.

Constantine, the younger brother, searches everywhere for his older brother, crying like a lost child. Norton, like all the older brothers in fairy tales who protect their younger siblings, would even become a dragon to protect his loved ones.

Constantine was killed, and Norton's roar made the entire Yangtze River tremble.

They all died, killed by the dragon slayer.

The screen went dark.

Lu Mingze commented: "It's really touching, but it's a pity that the two brothers were too stupid and their fates were not good."

"Shut up."

Act Two: The Tears of the King of the Earth and Mountains

A new scene unfolds.

“Every Dragon King is a twin,” the principal told the timid boy, “like two sides of a coin.”

In BJ's subway maze, the older brother is a paralyzed, demented dragon king, while the younger sister chooses to live as a human girl.

The younger sister prepares for her beloved human boy's birthday and has even learned the expressions a human girl should make when she's shy.

Finally, the disguise was torn off, and the human boy's knife pierced her heart. A look of relief flashed in the sister's eyes.

"It's as if I ate your girl. Go find her there; I left everything about her there."

These were her last words.

The brother held his sister's body as they sank into the ground. A rare downpour hit Beijing, and the earth seemed to weep for the brother and sister.

The screen was stained with blood.

Lu Mingze sighed, "Love always makes people foolish."

Lu Mingfei had a strange sense of déjà vu: "Why are they all tragedies?"

Act Three: The Little Monster

In Japan, a timid boy encounters his little monster.

She was like a cursed princess, possessing the power to destroy the world, yet with only the pure heart of a child.

She had collected a row of toy rubber ducks, each with "Sakura & Erii no duck" written on its belly.

"The world is so gentle," she wrote. But she didn't realize that she was the child who needed to be treated with the most gentleness.

The girl died in the red well.

Her last message was: "Sakura is the best."

Like the Little Mermaid who turned into sea foam in a fairy tale, the girl disappeared with her love for the boy on land, leaving behind only a cabinet full of toys that no one would ever claim.

The screen went dark.

Lu Mingze turned to look at Lu Mingfei: "Are you satisfied with the ending?"

Lu Mingfei's chest heaved violently, his anger almost bursting from his throat: "What kind of lousy ending is this?! Who wrote this script?! I'm going to kill him!"

Lu Mingze smiled: "Then, this time, let's try to change the ending."

He snapped his fingers.

Lu Mingfei suddenly woke up and found himself still sitting in the examination room.

Looking down, I saw that the exam paper was covered with complex dragon-shaped symbols, emitting a faint golden light.

Oh, right, Frilian!

He looked at Frilian, who had finished her test and was sitting quietly waiting for the papers to be collected. Noticing his gaze, she winked at him.

Did she really just memorize the answers? Or can elves also react to dragon runes? Lu Mingfei didn't quite understand these things. Passing the 3E exam was all that mattered.

Professor Manstein walked over and was somewhat surprised when he saw Lu Mingfei's exam paper.

"Lu Mingfei," he said in a low voice, "You answered well, but next time be quieter. You almost tore the classroom apart just now."

Lu Mingfei nodded blankly, Lu Mingze's words still echoing in his mind.

"This time, let's try to change the ending."

Chapter 12 Frillien's "Words of Power"

Lu Mingfei walked out of the examination room, his back soaked with cold sweat. He looked down at his palms, still feeling the lingering warmth of the dragon symbols on the exam paper.

"How is it?" Fingel asked, leaning against the corridor wall with an energy bar in his mouth, waiting for him.

"It was alright," Lu Mingfei said, scratching his head. "I had a strange dream."

"A dream?" Fingel raised an eyebrow. "Did you dream about your 3E exam?"

"How should I put it? Uh, it's like watching a movie that left me feeling really bad," Lu Mingfei couldn't explain his feelings.

Caesar, Chu Zihang, and several professors gathered around an electronic screen displaying the preliminary assessment results of the 3E exam.

Lu Mingfei: S-rank (Word of Power: Time Zero, Sequence 84)

Frilian: Rank A (Word of Power: Magician - New Variant - Sequence 70)

"Wow, junior brother!" Fingel whistled. "You really do have the same power of words as Principal Angers!"

Before Lu Mingfei could even feel smug, Caesar grabbed his shoulder and said, "Lu Mingfei, come to the student council. We need your talent."

“Boss, Liu Bei visited Zhuge Liang three times because Zhuge Liang had ideas. I’ve already decided to form a new club with Frilian.” Lu Mingfei felt that Caesar was dead heavy.

Chu Zihang stood to the side, not saying a word, but the meaning in his eyes was clear—the Lionheart Society also welcomes you.

Lu Mingfei chuckled twice: "Um, shall I go check on Frilian's upcoming Word of Power test?"

"Hey, if an S-class wants to enjoy the fun all to himself, Chu Zihang and I can't just pretend we didn't hear that. Want to come along, President Chu?" Caesar released Lu Mingfei and beckoned to Chu Zihang.

"Hmm." Chu Zihang was also very curious about the specific effects of Frilian's Word of Power.

The testing site was located in the equipment department's underground laboratory, with impact-resistant steel plates on the surrounding walls and various monitoring instruments suspended from the ceiling.

Frillie stood in the center of the arena, holding a staff, her silver hair tied in a high ponytail, looking clean and neat.

“Begin,” Schneider said, turning on the recorder. “Show me your power of words.”

Frilian nodded, raised her wand (which was publicly known as a "medium for casting spells of words"), and whispered, "Words of Power - Magician - Frost."

A wisp of cold air emanated from the tip of the wand, condensing into a thin layer of frost on the ground, limited to a meter below the feet.

Caesar raised an eyebrow: "That's it?"

Frillie breathed a weak sigh of relief and wiped away non-existent sweat: "Sorry, I'm a bit exhausted."

Lu Mingfei almost burst out laughing. This acting was Oscar-worthy.
