One step further, you are Miaojue Bodhisattva, which is equivalent to the fairy king. Mastering the Buddha's light and illuminating the glass shadow is the advanced stage of Miaojue Bodhisattva. It is a symbol. Only at this stage can one hundred thousand incarnations be separated and scattered in the surrounding world. The people who participate in the Lingshan Dharma Assembly must at least be Miaojue Bodhisattvas, or the peak of Eternal Enlightenment Bodhisattvas."

Patriarch Bodhi replied: "After converting to Buddhism, all living beings can become Buddhas through hard work and practice all the way from the bodhisattva path. Buddhas are divided into past Buddhas, present Buddhas and future Buddhas. How many Buddhas are there in the three generations? The teacher doesn’t have statistics either. I can only tell you a few more famous ones.”

"Master, which Buddhas are the most famous?"

"Sakyamuni Buddha located in the Central Posa World, Amitabha Buddha located in the Western Ultimate Bliss World, and Medicine Buddha located in the Eastern Pure Glass World. These three are also called the 'Horizontal Three Buddhas'."

"Master, where are the ashrams of these Buddhas located?"

"Located in the void, you can move as you wish, without a fixed place. If you are not a Buddhist monk, you will not be able to find them. If you want to find their ashram, just recite their names quietly and sincerely, and you may be guided. "

"Master, what is Tathagata? Does Tathagata mean Buddha Shakyamuni?"

"The Tathagata has nowhere to come from, and has nowhere to go, so it is called Tathagata. 'Ru' is true, and 'come' means coming. 'Truth' means the sage who masters the absolute truth, comes to the world to speak, and saves all living beings. !
Tathagata is a general term for Buddha, and it does not specifically refer to Shakyamuni Buddha.

For example, Vairocana Buddha, also known as Great Sun Tathagata; Pharmacist Buddha, also known as Pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata; Even Manjusri, Samantabhadra, and Ksitigarbha are all Tathagatas, and even their teachers have the name of "Tathagata Tathagata" (see Lotus Sutra). "
