Chapter 1091 The True God's End: The Shattered Divine Kingdom

Chapter 1091 The End of a True God - The Shattered Divine Kingdom
“The crime doesn’t warrant death…” Roland explained with a dark face.

"??? Are you speaking human language? No... what you've done is inhuman?" Tom Bombadil exclaimed in shock. You've been kidnapped by the Dragon Emperor! And with a slave contract no less! The Dragon Clan would slaughter your entire clan, at least ten clans wouldn't be enough to satisfy their hatred! How dare you have the nerve to say your crime doesn't deserve death?

"They're insane! They're all insane! The Dragon King has gone to be a human's dragon mount!" Tom Bombadil was completely dumbfounded when he saw Doss looking so happy.

"Alright, I've seen it all, I should go!" Tom Bombadil rolled his eyes and prepared to slip away.

"Wait a minute!" Roland used a void claw to try to stop Tom Bombadil. A huge amount of spatial dragon power erupted, and a virtual golden dragon claw skillfully grabbed Tom Bombadil's left arm. An unusual force immediately enveloped the surroundings.

"Huh?" Tom Bombadil lifted his foot and then paused for a moment.

"Spatial blockade? No! It's the spatial interference that comes with the skill!" Tom Bombadil narrowed his eyes. Void Claw is a spatial skill of the dragon race. Its biggest feature is that it can be cast instantly. The spatial dragon force will interfere with the surrounding spatial field and cause fluctuations in spatial coordinates! However, the level of interference is so high that even Tom Bombadil, who is a true god, was affected.

"What are you going to do?" Tom Bombadil had a bad feeling as he looked at Roland's smiling face so close to his.

"Can you do me a favor, senior?" Roland flashed a bright smile, revealing eight teeth.

……

"So you're making this old man do this kind of work?" Tom Bombadil twitched as he saw Roland and the others poking the eyelids of the dead Tomb Corpse Demon on the ground with longswords. This brat's so-called help was to lead them to the Tomb Corpse Demon's lair, right?

"Otherwise what? Doesn't divine sense crush us mortals?" Roland said matter-of-factly.

“I thought you would ask me to help you deal with Sauron…” Tom Bombadil shook his head.

"Hmm? Is that alright? Thank you! Wait? How did you know I was going to deal with Sauron?" Roland was taken aback.

"Ha! Your illustrious name resounds throughout Middle-earth, the king of the North from the plains south of Lonely Mountain!" Tom Bombadil quipped.

“That’s true!” Roland nodded. It’s not surprising that the old man knew he was going after Sauron since he had already opened his own office. Or rather, everyone in Middle-earth knew that Roland was fighting the Ringwraiths and Orcs, but not everyone knew that Sauron was their backer!

"So you've agreed to help me fight Sauron?" Roland the Fly asked excitedly, rubbing his hands together.

"???" Tom Bombardier was taken aback.

"What? You want me to help you fight Sauron?" Tom Bombadil asked with an incredulous expression.

“Of course! You are a true god! How could you be afraid of a false god like Sauron?” Roland asked doubtfully. Roland was certain that Sauron’s level was definitely not that of a true god, but it was clear that Tom Bombadil was holding something back!

……

"What's wrong?" Roland looked at Tom Bombadil, who was gesturing for him to follow, and quickly followed. The others cast curious glances at him, but Roland gestured for them to stay put and not follow.

"Do you know the source of divine power?" Tom Bombadil sighed. "No..." Roland shook his head decisively. How could someone who wasn't even a sixth-tier dragon knight possibly know about such things?
"God's power comes from His own authority! You should know what the core of God is!" Tom Bombadil instructed Roland.

“Divine position, divine status, divine kingdom?” Roland asked.

“Yes, but you probably don’t know that there is no longer a divine kingdom in this world!” Tom Bombadil said with a wry smile.

"Impossible! You are a true god! A true god cannot be without his own divine kingdom!" Roland pouted, his face full of disbelief. "Keep bragging! It's impossible to become a true god without a divine kingdom! Even when Osbaya became a god, he briefly created his own divine kingdom, only to have it vanish in an instant upon his death!"

“It’s true… During Ragnarok, the dragons slaughtered the gods, Aman was thrown into the Endless Sea, the Paradise of the gods was destroyed, the spatial anchor of Middle-earth was pulled out by the dragon god, and then the divine kingdom of the gods was shattered…” Tom Bombadil sighed and continued.

"Where do you think those myriad races came from? Elves and dwarves are creations and subjects of the gods. There is only one reason why they appeared in large numbers in Middle-earth: their divine kingdom was shattered! With nowhere else to go, they came to Middle-earth! They were not spared in that war... Everyone, including my divine kingdom, was shattered..." Tom Bombadil smiled bitterly.

"Where is the Dragon God?" Roland's lips twitched; he was now starting to believe Tom Bombadil's words.

“Don’t you know? Dragon Island!” Tom Bombadil shook his head.

“Those shattered divine kingdoms merged into the world, transforming into magical regions or lands. Dragon Island is the manifestation of the Dragon God’s shattered divine kingdom merging into the world!” Tom Bombadil explained to Roland.

“You… Fangon Forest!” Roland’s pupils trembled violently. He remembered that Tom Bombadil’s power came from the boundless Fangon Forest. Clearly, the Fangon Forest was the manifestation of his former divine kingdom on Middle-earth after its fall.

“Look at that withered forest! Although I am a god, I am no longer worthy of the title. The divine position is still in my hands, and the divine personality is intact, but the divine kingdom... the source of my power..." Tom Bombadil pointed to the old forest and the south.

“Only these two forests sustain my divine power! If these two forests perish, I will be nothing more than a false god who has lost his divine kingdom!” Tom Bombadil said bitterly.

“It’s not that I’m unwilling to help you, but that I’m powerless to do so. Sauron is not as simple as you see him! He’s already very close to becoming a true god. My family is already in ruins, and I don’t want to get involved in a war of gods with no future. Do you understand, child?” Tom Bombadil looked calmly at Roland.

"I can only protect the safety of this land. Sauron's minions dare not openly enter the land I guard! Don't worry, the Shire is safe. The rest of the land is in your hands!" Tom Bombadil patted Roland on the shoulder and said with emotion.

"Is Sauron very close to the true god?" Roland suddenly asked.

“He always has!” Tom Bombadil said meaningfully.

"Impossible! If he were a true god, he wouldn't have retreated until now. We would have been crushed to death on Lonely Mountain!" Roland shook his head in denial. There was no reason for a true god to be so cautious. What was he afraid of? Was he afraid that a demigod would burst out laughing and kill him?

"Could he be injured? Wait! How did that bunch of cannon fodder and demigods manage to seal him away during the final alliance battle?" Roland turned his head and immediately realized what he couldn't understand. The loophole was obvious! A demigod fighting a true god? Don't be ridiculous, even a true god would laugh!

"And what's the deal with the One Ring?" Roland asked.

"Huh? You know about that thing too? We absolutely mustn't let Soren get his hands on that thing! Otherwise, we're all doomed!" Tom Bombadil said seriously immediately after hearing this.

"What's the story behind that thing? Is it the Nine Rings that control humanity? Or is it the source of Sauron's power? Does it have any other functions?" Roland asked.
