Chapter 22 Be Your Own Hypnotist - Self Hypnosis

Chapter 22 Be Your Own Hypnotist - Self Hypnosis (3)
Although the heart exercise stage helps to eliminate the physical and mental tension of the practitioner, it will feel more difficult than the first and second stages during the exercise. Therefore, it requires the practitioner to extend the practice time each time. It takes about 3 ~4 weeks of practice before you can master it proficiently.

When practicing, put the palm of your right hand gently close to the position of your heart, but remember, you must be gentle, so as to avoid the pressure on the heart caused by this, otherwise it will be very unfavorable to your relaxation.

The practice posture at this stage is not like the previous two stages, but the supine posture is the best.Of course, you can also take the leaning position after you have mastered this stage of practice.

When you put the palm of your right hand gently close to your heart, you will feel that your heart is beating regularly under your right hand.At this time, please focus all your consciousness on the beating of the heart, and have a picture of the beating heart in your mind. That is the concentrated expression of your vitality and the birthplace of your vitality.

After a while, you will feel the beating of your heart gradually increasing. This "plop, plop" beating will be conveyed to your whole body through the palm of your right hand. You will feel that powerful beating full of energy, vitality and life force that almost lifts your right hand away.At this time, you should silently repeat yourself in your heart: "The upper limbs are heavy...the upper limbs are warm...the heart is beating quietly...the heart is beating quietly..."

Soon after you perform such repeated hints, you will feel a heavy and warm feeling starting from your upper limbs and gradually spreading to your lower limbs and even the whole body.At the same time, you will also feel a subtle change in the beating of your heart. It started to get weird—quiet for a while, violent for a while, like the ebb and flow of the tide.

Slowly, you will feel that the beating of your heart is becoming one with your spirit. At this time, once again firmly engrave the beating heart in your mind, and at the same time repeat the self-suggestion: "The heart is beating quietly...the heart is beating quietly..."

Gradually, you will find that your breathing becomes slower and deeper, your heart beats more gently and calmly, and you feel more comfortable. Before you know it, you will gradually become involved in the beating of your heart, as if you are a part of this rhythm.

When you reach this state, maybe you will find that for a moment you can't even feel your heart beating. There is no need to panic when this happens, it is a normal reaction. This is because you have become one with your heart. After a while, you will naturally feel your heart beating back into your body.

At this point, you will be surprised to find that you can melt into your heart. This is an indescribable carefree, peaceful and intoxicating state of mind, which you have never experienced before.Once you mentally feel the above-mentioned pleasant feeling, it means that the third stage of heart exercise work is over.

4. Breathing exercises.

The breathing movement of us humans is an involuntary physiological activity that is essential for us to keep alive. However, our breathing can be adjusted to a limited extent through certain training.A long time ago, people knew that the method of breath adjustment was used to pursue the stability and unity of the spirit, so as to achieve the purpose of fitness. This is the case with yoga in India and Tai Chi in China.

This is because the change of breathing is closely related to the gas metabolism and energy metabolism of our body and the function of the nerve center. When we adjust our breathing, the movement of our diaphragm rhythmically changes the pressure in our chest and abdominal cavity, which in turn can promote blood flow. Therefore, through the adjustment of human breathing, some diseases can be effectively treated.

There are no special requirements for the surrounding environment during the breathing practice stage, but at the beginning of the practice, it is better to choose a quieter environment alone as much as possible.

Choose a position that you think is comfortable to sit down, let your face face to the center, straighten your back, put your hands gently on your legs, and relax your whole body.Wait until your heart is very calm, slowly close your eyes. Then you can repeat the suggestion silently in your heart: "The upper limbs are heavy...the upper limbs are warm...the heart is beating quietly...the breathing is relaxed...the upper limbs are heavy...the upper limbs are warm...the heart is beating quietly... Breathe easy...breathe easy..."

When doing breathing training, you can use chest breathing (keep the tension on the abdomen when you inhale, and keep its volume from changing, and your chest will naturally bulge) or abdominal breathing (keep the chest constant. change, letting your stomach pop as you inhale). However, under normal circumstances, the effect of abdominal breathing is better than chest breathing.Remember, no matter which method you use to breathe, you can only breathe through your nose when breathing, not with your mouth open.

When doing deep breathing, it should not be too much, that is to say, the breathing should not be too deep or too shallow, mainly to highlight the effect of "relaxation".The size of breathing function varies from person to person. The so-called "easy breathing" refers to the most relaxed and suitable breathing range for a specific person.

During the above repeated self-suggestion, you will gradually feel a sense of heaviness and warmth spread from your limbs to your whole body, and you can obviously feel your heart beating easily and comfortably.Your breathing begins to become deep and slow, as if there is a feeling that your whole body is breathing. You will feel as if your body is floating in soft cotton, swaying back and forth quietly. The body feels very relaxed and comfortable, and the spirit will become very relaxed and happy.Once you experience the above feelings, it means that you have successfully entered the fourth stage of self-hypnosis.

5. Abdominal exercises.

Self-hypnosis at this stage mainly adjusts the functions of various organs and keeps the mind quiet by warming your abdomen and the nerve fiber group called the solar plexus.

Our sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves can be said to be ubiquitously distributed in various parts of the entire body.Especially in our abdomen, a large number of nerve fibers are concentrated, and they are distributed in beams like the sun's rays.Among them, the part corresponding to the sun itself is called the solar ganglion. The surrounding beams are called the solar plexus. That is to say, each of us has our own sun in our belly.

The solar plexus is an important nervous system that ensures the normal activities of our stomach, intestines, liver, kidneys and other organs. Before you begin the fifth stage of self-hypnosis, you should know where your solar plexus is located. So, let's start by taking a look at where exactly your solar plexus is.

First, sit firmly and relaxed on a chair with your back straight and your face facing straight ahead.Keep your feet flat on the ground, your left hand on your lap, and your eyes open.

Then, place the palm of your right hand toward the abdomen, and place it between the lower end of the sternum (a longitudinal bone located in the center of the chest) and the navel, about 3 cm away from the body.Note that you can't let your hands press on your abdomen, and your palms must be a short distance away from your body.

Then, you start to imagine like this: "From the palm of your hand, very warm light shoots out. When the light shines on your abdomen, you feel that your abdomen gradually becomes warmer..."

After you have created these images, close your eyes and repeat silently in your mind: "From the palm of my hand, the warm light shines down to the depths of my abdomen. The heat penetrates the clothes and the skin." , has been irradiating deeper into my body..."
