Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory
Chapter 33 The End of the Universe is Where Trees Are Planted
George Stacy was just a side story for Willy Wonka, and choosing a familiar face as police chief was simply a matter of convenience.
According to the original plan, Willy Wonka was supposed to prepare new varieties of chocolate in the chocolate factory to open up the market in the universe.
But an unexpected change caused Willy Wonka to put chocolate making aside!
The Space Stone is one of the most powerful energy sources in the universe; it can practically be called an inexhaustible source of energy.
The Chocolate Factory was built by Willy Wonka after he mastered the awakening of the Chocolate Fruit; it is the manifestation of the Chocolate Fruit's core power.
The Space Stone was stored by Willy Wonka in the chocolate factory, and with its endless energy, the last remaining deficiency was made up.
Willy Wonka felt that his chocolate fruit had undergone a qualitative change, especially now.
Like rain after a long drought, dormant seeds receive the water they crave after the rainy season begins, and thus take root, sprout, and prepare to flower and bear fruit.
Every fruit has seeds, like apple cores and watermelon seeds—Devil Fruits!!?
Willy Wonka never considered that Devil Fruit was literally what it sounds like; Devil Fruit is also a fruit, a real fruit.
After being nourished by the Space Stone, the Chocolate Fruit finally gained enough energy to grow.
The right timing, location, and people are all indispensable. In the Marvel universe, there is only one Devil Fruit; Willy Wonka successfully awakened the Chocolate Fruit; and the Space Stone provided enormous energy.
Thus, this long-dormant fruit took root and sprouted.
Willy Wonka, as the owner of the fruit, became the "planter" of the tree at that moment.
This little fruit tree is two meters tall and looks like it's growing in a chocolate factory, but its roots are actually deeply embedded in Willy Wonka.
If Willy Wonka hadn't awakened his fruit, he would have become nourishment for the sapling. But Willy Wonka had already awakened, which accelerated the sapling's growth and also bound him completely to it.
"So I became a tree-man? Does that mean the only way to become strong is to stop being human?"
As a member of the Charlotte family, Willy Wonka already had a somewhat distant relationship with humans. Now, he has completely severed his ties with humanity.
The Space Stone was firmly wrapped by the sapling's roots, which continuously drew energy from the stone.
The sapling, only two meters tall, has already begun to bear fruit.
Willy Wonka sensed that one of the fruits was ripe, so he reached out and plucked the banana-shaped fruit with strange spirals from the tree.
The fruit has nothing to do with chocolate; it's soft to the touch, just like a real, ordinary fruit.
Willy Wonka couldn't possibly eat the fruit himself, so he took it and left the chocolate factory.
After Willy Wonka left, the little fruit tree disappeared as if it had never existed in the chocolate factory.
"Frank, find someone you can trust to come over."
Willy Wonka immediately contacted his old butler. This trial was different; it required an absolutely trustworthy and loyal assassin.
They must be able to bear the risks of the experiment, while also ensuring that those who gain the ability after the experiment is successful do not betray them.
Night had fallen, and the sweet aroma outside the chocolate factory lingered. Willy Wonka sat on the grass, toying with the fruit in his hand, waiting for Frank.
A short while later, a rumbling sound came from the sky, and the helicopter's constantly spinning rotors kicked up clouds of dust on the grass, creating ripples. After landing, Frank arrived at Willy Wonka's side with a man in camouflage.
Frank bowed slightly: "Mr. Willy Wonka, this is Alex Browning from the Group's security department. He joined the Group after graduating from university with the Group's sponsorship and has been serving the Group for 15 years."
Alex bowed to Willy Wonka:
"Mr. Willy Wonka."
The man in front of her helped his entire family escape poverty, enabling his father to access better medical resources and his sister to no longer have to work several jobs to make ends meet.
My job pays well enough to support my whole family.
Alex had only one opinion of Mr. Willy Wonka: he was the patriarch of the Tottoland family.
Willy Wonka naturally trusted Frank completely. Since Frank had made the request and brought the person over, then this person was definitely no problem.
"This is a fruit that can grant abilities, but it hasn't been tested, so we don't know its specific effects yet."
"Alex, I need you to eat this fruit now. Don't worry, you can still work normally at the Totland Group if you refuse."
Without the slightest hesitation, Alex immediately assured Willy Wonka:
"Mr. Willy Wonka, I do."
"Okay, if something goes wrong, your family will receive a one-time compensation of two million dollars. You'll also receive a monthly compensation of $20,000 until you have no surviving immediate family members. Your sister will be working at the Totland Corporation headquarters."
"This is compensation for your accident. Of course, Alex, I didn't want anything to happen to you."
Alex took a deep breath; this condition left him with no further worries.
Alex took the banana-shaped fruit from Willy Wonka and first tried to peel it open.
However, this fruit feels soft to the touch, but it is actually quite tough and not easy to peel.
After trying it once, Alex put the whole fruit directly into his mouth and took a bite.
The greasy taste filled my mouth, rushing straight to my brain. This was followed by a strange, indescribable flavor.
It's like eating half a bowl of lard, a big chunk of fatty meat, and then some leftover rice that's been stale for three days.
Alex almost vomited, but his professionalism made him suppress the urge to gag and swallow the fruit in his mouth.
He only ate a third of it, and the rest made him never want to touch oily food again in his life.
After eating, Alex noticed a change; he felt like he had inexhaustible energy.
It's as if there's another ferocious beast hidden inside, ready to be unleashed at any moment.
So Alex followed his impulse, his arms gradually lengthening and thinning, and his perspective changed, looking at Willy Wonka and Frank from eye level to looking down.
Alex transformed into a pterosaur, its massive body larger than the helicopter standing nearby. Furthermore, Alex's body was no ordinary pterosaur; its skin was harder than steel.
He also had a hunch that the flapping of his wings could generate wind blades.
Willy Wonka looked at the enormous creature before him and a smile spread across his face.
