Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 34 Mr. Pterosaur's Path to Wealth

Alex Browning, in his pterosaur form, did not act irrationally; instead, he remained obediently before Willy Wonka and Frank.

The way to overcome impulses is simple: be grateful to your benefactors, respect your elders, and have a little bit of awe for the strong.

Alex transformed into a pterosaur, gaining increased power, but this power wasn't gained by trading his brains. On the contrary, his mind was clearer than ever before.

From Alex's perspective, Frank's seemingly frail body is like a machine brimming with limitless energy, the power that bursts forth when his muscles are taut could tear him apart in just a few seconds.

This is a monster in human skin!

Alex didn't even dare to look at Willy Wonka, because he felt like he would explode if he looked at him for even a second—and he really would explode. Alex felt a fatherly warmth and a fatherly authority in Willy Wonka.

What a true patriarch!

Willy Wonka was quite satisfied with the result; at least Alex hadn't exploded and died. Of course, whether there were any other negative effects needed further observation. For now, it seemed like a success!

"Alex, in this state, can you hear me?"

The pterosaur opened its enormous, tooth-filled mouth and actually spoke human language. The voice even sounded somewhat "honest," quite incongruous with its ferocious appearance.

"Mr. Willy Wonka, I can hear you. I am fully conscious, have no discomfort, and nothing is trying to take my place. I have complete control over my body now."

"Moreover, I can switch between these two forms at will, and my intuition tells me that there are no side effects to doing so."

Alex naturally understood the reasons why Willy Wonka had asked him to come for this experiment.

He took the initiative to explain, partly to make a good impression on Willy Wonka, and partly to prove that what he said was true and that he could now think rationally about the issue.

"Alright, Alex, go ahead and show us what you're capable of. We're going to test your current strength. Frank, remember to stop while you're ahead."

Willy Wonka stepped back, leaving the stage to Frank and Alex.

This pterosaur body was just like his original body to Alex; he could control it with ease and without any sense of obstruction.

His massive body was surprisingly agile; he quickly created distance between himself and Frank, and then took off rapidly.

Alex had seen pterosaurs take off on television and knew it was extremely complicated, but now he could fly whenever he wanted. With a gentle flap of his wings, he generated an incredible amount of airflow that supported his body.

This is the pterosaur I imagined; the pterosaurs on TV shows are all weak and pathetic.

Those experts have never even been pterosaurs themselves, yet they dare to spout nonsense on television programs!

Alex just wanted to laugh out loud. What an inconvenient thing!

Since Mr. Willy Wonka is letting him do as he pleases, he won't hold back.

Frank, in particular, was a monster, and Alex dared not be careless in the face of such a powerful opponent.

With a flap of his wings, the airflow compressed beneath them, creating a small whirlwind. As he moved, the whirlwind hurtled towards Frank.

At the same time, the small whirlwind rapidly expanded in mid-air, becoming a terrifying whirlwind capable of easily snapping large trees in half.

In the blink of an eye, the whirlwind covered a distance of tens of meters, easily enveloping Frank, and the high-speed compressed airflow tried to tear Frank apart.

Frank didn't use a knife. Instead, he covered his entire body with Armament Haki, braved the whirlwind, and then used Moonwalk!

Frank kicked back and forth with his left and right feet, as if he were performing some kind of amazing light-footed skill, and quickly took off into the air.

Alex was shocked. He hadn't expected Frank to be able to come to the sky. He had always thought that after becoming a pterosaur, the sky would be his domain.

Frank saw through Alex's intentions, that he wanted to use his aerial advantage to stall him, but he just kept silent and kept throwing punches.

Haha, let your Grandpa Frank teach you what true power is.

You've turned into a pterosaur? Even if you become a pterosaur, I'll still fight you!

Frank didn't use a knife; if he had, Alex would have been shot down from the sky by now.

A fist coated in Armament Haki slammed into Alex's chest, the massive impact producing a loud bang.

Cracks appeared on Alex's steel-like skin, and his seemingly invincible defense was easily shattered by the fist.

Frank's body was quite small compared to the pterosaur, and Alex, whose wingspan exceeded 20 meters, was sent flying by a single punch from Frank.

It flapped its wings frantically several times, and the resulting airflow finally stabilized its massive body. One punch sent it flying back dozens of meters.

Alex tried to maintain his form in the air, but the sharp pain in his chest made him convulse involuntarily. After struggling for a while, Alex fell from the sky and transformed back into human form.

Frank carried Alex back to the entrance of the chocolate factory; he had just broken one of Alex's ribs with a punch.

However, within just a few minutes, Alex's broken ribs had already healed, a remarkably fast process.

Alex felt an unprecedented emptiness, making him unsteady on his feet and unable to even lift his arm.

The experiment was so successful that Willy Wonka was thrilled; it was a perfect start.

"Alex, I will arrange a position with a base annual salary of one million dollars, and at the same time, I will give you the highest level of profit sharing rights in the Totland security department."

"From now on, you will be directly under Frank's command, and tomorrow we will move your office from Chicago to New York."

"Your family will be properly arranged by the group, and suitable jobs and schools will be provided for them in New York."

Willy Wonka said this with a smile, and then took out a document and a key.

"This is an apartment in Manhattan, New York, 300 square meters, worth $500 million. Sign the papers, and the property is yours."

"As part of your latest benefits, you can rest assured to stay here. The Totland Group will not forget anyone who has made a contribution, nor will it mistreat anyone with ability."

Upon hearing these words, Alex's previously unsteady steps suddenly became full of strength; these things in front of him were enough to buy his life.

He took the document bag and keys from Willy Wonka's hand and held them with unusual seriousness.

"Mr. Willy Wonka, you are my family's benefactor!"

Alex forced himself to bow deeply to Willy Wonka, then everything went black and he collapsed to the ground with a thud.

Even after fainting, she was still tightly clutching the file folder and keys in her hands.
