Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 94 You know we're keeping a ghost in our house!

In the Marvel universe, most people are just playing with numbers. The strength of the strong is very intuitive and obvious, but there seems to be no difference between them.

The weak throw a punch, and so does the strong. It's just that the strong swing a bigger fist at a faster speed, perhaps with a few special effects added to the punch.

Willy Wonka followed the same path, turning battles into contests of endurance and toughness.

These aspects are certainly important, but after witnessing the Ancient One's magic and Odin's use of divine power, Willy Wonka also learned a lot.

A true master should have the demeanor of a master; they can't fight like an ordinary person, bare-armed. While that might make the battle exciting, it makes them seem too ordinary.

Willy Wonka has thought about this issue and concluded that once you reach a certain level, your art style will no longer be the same as that of a regular Karami.

In short, my art style is superior to yours!

Carol's photon shockwave couldn't even get close; the brilliant beam of light was extinguished at a distance of fifty meters from Willy Wonka.

Willy Wonka appears to have appeared in the real world, but in reality, he is still in his chocolate factory, only now it has been moved to a location in front of Carol.

This operation borrowed a small portion of the Space Stone's power, inserting a completely new space into the battlefield, and the chocolate factory was compressed into this space.

This space, seemingly indistinguishable from its surroundings, was in reality vastly different. The spatial distance made it impossible for Carol to attack Willy Wonka.

This was a one-sided beating, and Carroll had no way to retaliate.

"Carol Danvers, your hostility towards me is completely unreasonable. I think if you did a simple investigation in a few ways, you wouldn't always consider me an enemy."

"Like right now, I could easily subdue you, but I'm still willing to reason with you. I hope you understand that there's no fundamental conflict between us."

"Your efforts to maintain peace in the universe are actually to my advantage." Willy Wonka produced a piece of chocolate. "Carol, you know what chocolate is. I'm a businessman, just trying to do business."

Carol stopped what she was doing, convinced that Willy Wonka was still just using sweet talk to deceive her.

Although a detailed investigation was lacking, the brief understanding was enough for her to sketch a simple behavioral portrait of Willy Wonka in her mind.

This is definitely not an ordinary businessman!

"Willy Wonka, I also grew up eating Totland chocolates and candies. I believe you are a businessman. But you are more than just a businessman."

"If you just want to do business, then why stage a coup? Do you need to be a head of state to sell chocolates normally?"

Carol said with a hint of sarcasm, her eyes shining as if she could see right through the dark side of Willy Wonka's heart.

"And S.H.I.E.L.D. was disbanded because of you, and Nick Fury was killed by your own hands. Aren't all these things enough?"

As Carol spoke, she glanced at Willy Wonka with the look of someone who saw a villain as a hypocrite. If it weren't for the vast difference in their strength, she wouldn't have wasted her breath on Willy Wonka; she would have taken him down directly.

Willy Wonka wasn't angry at Carol's words; she was telling the truth. He was the one who killed Black Egg and fired the first shot that led to the disbandment of S.H.I.E.L.D.

There are still some things that haven't been made clear. Willy Wonka doesn't need Carol to live, but he needs Carol to increase cohesion for the future of Earth.

"Carol, I actually have some questions, and I wonder if you could give me some answers?" Willy Wonka asked, his expression relaxed, as if it were a casual conversation between old friends, without any sense of tension.

Carol took a deep breath: "Tell me, if I know the answer, I can give you the answer."

"Don't worry, as Nick Fury's friend, you should know the answer to this question."

Did you know that there are Skrulls on Earth?

Carol showed a slight unease, but only for a moment, before quickly regaining her expressionless demeanor.

"I know, they are all refugees from the Skrull Empire, who became homeless because of the war between the Skrull and Kree Empires. They are staying on Earth temporarily, and will leave as soon as they find a new home."

"They're refugees!"

Willy Wonka's words carried a hint of sarcasm, as if he were mocking Carol's refugee status.

"Yes, they are all victims of war, so stop, Willy Wonka, your actions will bring disaster as well."

"Carol, have you even cared about these refugees? This temporary stay has been going on for decades. Is Earth the new home you and Nick Fury have found for them?"

Earth belongs to humanity, and no one should be allowed to lay a finger on it. This is a bottom line, not only for Willy Wonka, but also for the Ancient One.

Even Tony wouldn't be so generous as to give up a small area to accommodate so-called space refugees.

In particular, these refugees have now shown enough threat that they have even begun to consider taking over the hostage situation.

"They will leave, but they haven't found a new home yet. Their homeland was destroyed, and they are now displaced. It's a good option for Earth to take them in."

Carol genuinely believed this, especially given the current scarcity of resources in the universe, making it extremely difficult to find a suitable planet to settle these refugees.

"Peace-loving people can help each other, and living together won't harm humanity." Carol felt that the Skrulls posed no threat compared to the vast human population. "Perhaps this can teach humanity the most important lesson before venturing into space: peace!"

Willy Wonka laughed; he simply couldn't understand Carol's words and actions. "You know, it's keeping a ghost in its house!"

The entire conversation between the two was presented to the White House, including by dignitaries who had already bowed down to them, as well as members of the Charlotte family and their allies.

Everyone gasped in shock. It turned out that this damned alien invasion wasn't a recent event at all; it had been going on for decades.

Furthermore, during their conversation, Carol revealed the total number of Skrull refugees: 100 million!

One million, what does that even mean!

These people all wanted to tear Carol and Nick Fury to pieces.

Damn it, so it was you guys who caused this mess, quietly bringing these intelligent beings with the ability to shapeshift and whose individual strength surpasses that of humans into Earth.

These are our ecological competitors! Peaceful coexistence? Are you out of your mind?!
