I'd never heard of Vito the Bayonetta Gang in my past life, but I'd definitely heard of Vito the Chaotic Blade Society—Adcardo's old nemesis.

The Wanderers are actually widely distributed, with seven major tribes. According to Vito's current information, the Night Wanderers are also widely distributed, at least not just through the Chaotic Blade Society.

If we're going to deal with the Night Wanderer, we need to get its enemies involved as well.

Vito assessed the difficulty of the mission and told Romano.

"Night-roaming ghosts are not like companies; they're not easy to find. I won't buy you any alcohol for this job. Just wait for news at home."

Romano knew this job wouldn't be easy, but Vito's team had left a deep impression on him. Rather than waiting for Rogge to find someone in the afterlife, he decided to go directly to Vito.

"Okay, let me know as soon as there's any progress."

After Romano left, Vito called Carlo, who was from the Snake Clan, a wandering tribe, and should have had dealings with the Bayonet Gang.

"Hey Vito, I'm still putting together your order. Can you wait a few more days?"

Carlo assumed Vito was calling about the goods; he had been harassed by the Night Wanderers lately, preventing him from getting goods in, especially large shipments like the ones Vito wanted.

"The goods aren't urgent, Carlo. Do you know the Bayonet Gang?"

Vito explained, and then asked.

"I know, it's the new branch of the Night Wanderers from last year. Those beasts are specifically targeting us!"

"That makes things easier, Carlo. I have a request that aligns our goals perfectly: I need to find the Bayonet Gang's hideout. Do you know where it is?"

Carlo was silent for a moment, then answered.

"Like the Wanderers, the Bayonet Gang often moves camps. Vito, you can come to the Snake Gang camp. I'll tell you the location, and we'll discuss the Bayonet Gang matter when you get there."

It seems the Snake Gang has been pushed to the brink by the Bayonet Gang. Carlo even told Vito, this outsider mercenary, the location of his own camp. The Wanderers are usually quite secretive about the location of their camp.

"Okay, send me the location, I'll go there in a bit."

After Carlo sent his location, Vito went straight to the garage behind the Wolf Pack and knocked on the door, waking Jack from his dream.

Jack, still half asleep, opened the door with the golden, fierce woman in his hand.

"Vito, what are you doing knocking on my door so early in the morning?"

"We've got work again. We're just destined to be busy, but this time we'll be able to raise the money for the Wild Wolf renovation. The righteous journalist Romano has handed us another large sum of money."

Jack first welcomed Vito into his garage, which was also his room.

"Come in and have a seat. I was so busy last night that I just went to bed."

"What's wrong? What's making you so worried?"

"It's all because of the Sixth Street Gang. Wild Wolf is now a fairly well-known middleman agency, but the ones profiting are all from the Valentino Gang. The Sixth Street Gang wanted to take a bite out of them, and they came to cause trouble yesterday. The two groups almost got into a fight at the bar!"

"If you ask me, after you renovated, you should go to the store and carry two Sany helicopters to the ceiling, and see who dares to cause trouble then."

Jack made room for Vito on the sofa and put on a coat for himself.

"Are you kidding me, Mano? Wild Wolf is a bar! With two heavy machine guns pointed overhead, everyone's going to pee before they even get a sip of their drinks!"

"Then why don't you just put two wolf heads on the outside of a heavy machine gun?"

Jack was stunned after hearing this.

"That's interesting, Vito. I could never have come up with such a brilliant idea in my entire life."

Vito noticed the sand table on the table.

"What is this thing? Why is it so ugly?"

Jack was dissatisfied.

"I made this myself. It's a little strange, but it's not ugly, right? Misty told me that this can absorb my negative energy."

Vito looked around.

"You really need to fix up this shack. If I were you, I'd be too embarrassed to bring Misty home."

Jack dressed neatly and grabbed his weapons and ammunition.

"Let's not talk about me yet. How are things going between you and Miss Wesley?"

Seeing that Jack was ready, Vito also stood up and prepared to leave.

"Liying and I are together now. After I finish this job, I'll take her to the clinic to help Gloria out. We'll also set up a modification shop next to the clinic. Our commissions are getting bigger and bigger, so we need to keep up with the demand."

"I need to convert my magician to full bulletproof and add mini missile launchers. Do you need to modify your motorcycle too?"

Jack quickly waved his hand in refusal.

"Never mind, my Kusanagi is my treasure, I can't bear to turn it into a mobile artillery platform with a machine gun."

The two drove the Magician straight to the location Carlo had given them. The Magician was indeed a car born for off-roading; it was more convenient to drive in the wild than in the city.

To avoid any misunderstanding, Vito called Carlo when they were almost at their destination, lest the wanderer, who was suffering from PTSD from the Bayonet Gang, unleash a barrage of shots at the unfamiliar car.

Carlo and his companions had been waiting for Vito's arrival. He had discussed it with Max, the leader of the Snake Gang. Vito was a powerful mercenary, and perhaps with his help, they could break the stalemate that had dragged them into the mire with the Bayonet Gang.

The current situation in Snake State is that supplies can't get in and goods can't get out. The Bayonet Gang members roam the wasteland like a pack of wolves, pouncing on Snake State whenever they try to transport goods and taking both the people and the goods.

When Max organized his men to fight the Bayonet Gang, the Bayonet Gang retreated back to the wasteland.

If they spend all their time organizing people to escort the goods, Snake Alliance will run out of money in just a few months.

Just two days ago, the Snake Clan's camp was attacked by the Bayonet Gang, resulting in heavy losses for the Snake Clan. Max risked his life to lead his people out of the encirclement.

Carlo led Vito and Jack to a heavy transport vehicle in the middle of the camp, which was the residence of Max, the leader of the Snake Clan. He had seized this vehicle from the company years ago, single-handedly, proving that Max was definitely a skilled fighter in his youth.

"You're Vito? Welcome, I'm Max from the Snake Gang."

Vito found the name crazy, and he shook hands with Max.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Chief Max. This is my partner, Jack. I heard we have some trouble in common, so I came to your camp to see if I could help you."

Vito had just taken a quick look around the camp and found that although the camp was large, morale was low and everyone looked dejected.

"I heard from Carlo that you're looking for the Bayonet Gang? We can help our friends with that."

Max was a cunning old fox; he never mentioned that he also needed someone's help.

"I'm sorry, Chief Max, but could my partner and I possibly have something to eat at your camp? We're starving after traveling all this way. I'm so sorry for the intrusion."

"It's alright, it's alright. I'll have Carlo take you there, and we'll talk again after we eat."

After finishing his meal, Vito mentioned that he was a gun enthusiast and wanted to see the equipment that the wanderers usually didn't have in the city. Carlo and the others then took him on a tour.

After circling the camp for a while, Vito returned to Max's heavy transport truck.

"Alright, Chief Max, we can talk about cooperation now. Your camp is being bleed dry by the Bayonet Gang, and I can help you."
