Hogwarts: This holy light is righteously evil

Mrs. Hooch took a deep breath and slowly raised the whistle in her hand.

With a crisp, loud whistle piercing the sky, the competition officially began!

The Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students, who were still standing on the ground, immediately gripped their broom handles, pushed off the ground with their feet, and instantly took off into the air, flying forward.

Puni was not to be outdone. He immediately activated his broom and, in his most familiar super-fast posture, darted away in an instant. The whistling wind filled his ears, and a carefree smile spread across his face.

Besides reading, his favorite thing to do is this kind of sport that is hard to experience in the Muggle world.

After all, Muggles who want to fly freely in the sky can only rely on things that could seriously endanger their lives.

He doesn't like sports where you could easily fall to the ground and break into eight pieces if you're not careful.

It's funny, but unnecessary.

The judges around the lawn kept a close eye on the participating students in the air.

At this moment, the students participating in the competition were all working hard to control their brooms, chasing each other, and no one wanted to fall behind.

Right from the start, a series of young wizards fell off their brooms and landed on the lawn, rolling around in a sorry state, some clutching their arms and others rubbing their knees.

Mrs. Huo Qi suddenly regretted it.

How could she so easily agree to a student's request?

They've only just started practicing flying!

"Hey! Keep your brooms under control! Don't get distracted!"

Chaos erupted on the field, and Marcos was one of the many who were caught in it.

He was too eager to succeed, and as soon as he took off, he suddenly accelerated the broom. As a result, he lost his balance and fell straight off the broom, hitting the grass hard face down. His nose turned red instantly, and his mouth was scraped.

Eddie, who was standing not far from him, was caught off guard by the impact of his fall and lost his balance, falling off the broom and crashing into Marcos. The two of them scrambled to their feet, their faces covered in dust.

The Hufflepuff students weren't in much better shape.

Most of them were honest and simple-minded, eager to show off their flying ability. As soon as they heard the whistle, they tried to speed up, but as soon as they sped up, their brooms began to shake violently, jammed and went out of control. They either fell to the ground or spun around in the air, unable to fly normally at all.

In an instant, the lawn was littered with students who had fallen and brooms that had gone out of control, creating a chaotic scene.

Conversely, those who are truly beginners in flying, even in competitions, still fly steadily and slowly.

Unlike everyone else, Puni started a few steps later than everyone else.

He didn't rush to speed up, but first gently adjusted the broom's balance, feeling the rhythm of controlling the broom.

After getting used to the feel of the broom, he suddenly activated his magic, and the broom instantly accelerated, darting out like a blur, overtaking all the students who were still struggling, and taking the lead by a wide margin.

It was only then that the Hufflepuff students realized what Puni was thinking.

—He wasn't slow to react; he was clearly waiting for everyone to get used to the brooms and fall into chaos before taking advantage of the situation!

Everyone was both angry and anxious. They quickly got up from the ground, dusted themselves off, gripped their brooms tightly, and desperately tried to use their magic to catch up.

But by this time, Puni had already taken a significant lead.

Of course, Puni wasn't the only one on the field to successfully take off and move forward.

Qiu Zhang followed steadily behind Puni, not too far away, and his movements with the broom were smooth and stable, without any panic.

It's clear that she has a real talent for flying.

She not only mastered the basic exercises in class, but also quickly adapted to the rhythm of controlling the broom, and was able to handle even high-speed racing with ease.

Puni caught a glimpse of Qiu Zhang behind him out of the corner of his eye, a slight smile playing on his lips. He exerted his strength again, further widening the distance between them.

He maneuvered the broom nimbly through the air, maintaining steady control even at bends in the grass without slowing down.

On the other hand, the Hufflepuff students, despite their best efforts to catch up, could not close the gap with Penny—after all, this was not a Quidditch match, where there was no need to chase the Golden Snitch or cooperate as a team.

More importantly, there are many turns on the track. To catch up with the leader, Puni, brute force alone is not enough. Precise handling skills and the ability to control the direction are also required.

Two Hufflepuff students, eager to catch up, disregarded their own handling abilities and recklessly accelerated. As a result, when they encountered the first turn, they had no time to adjust their direction, and their brooms carried them straight towards the Forbidden Forest. The two students cried out in fright and hurriedly swerved to change the direction of their brooms, barely managing to avoid the trees at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. They returned to the track in a sorry state, only to fall far behind again.

Puni led the way from start to finish, and with his skillful maneuvering and precise control of the rhythm, he flew steadily around the lawn and crossed the finish line first.

Then, the Hufflepuff students crossed the finish line one after another.

One of the tall Hufflepuff boys stepped forward: "Puni, how do you fly so skillfully?"

Upon hearing this, Puni smiled and waved his hand, "I just practiced a lot at home before."

Qiu Zhang landed slowly and walked to Puni's side: "Puni, you're amazing! I'm still a little short of catching up with you."

Puni turned to look at her and nodded: "You're pretty good too. To fly so steadily in your first race, keep it up. Maybe you can really surpass me next time."

Madam Huo Qi walked to the group, looked at the smiles on their faces, shook her head helplessly, but did not scold them.

Although the scene was somewhat chaotic, fortunately no one was seriously injured, and she could see that the students had indeed honed their flying skills in the competition.

She cleared her throat and said loudly, "Alright, the competition is over. Everyone come and gather around, put away your brooms, and today's flying lesson is over."

"Remember our promise!"

The young wizards responded, gathered together, and then dispersed in a flurry.

......

It's time for Transformation class again, a course that Puni really enjoys.

The tactile sensation when performing transformation magic is actually far more wondrous than Puni imagined.

When he softly utters the Transmutation Charm, magic flows slowly from the tip of his wand, enveloping the matches on the table. His consciousness is then drawn by a force, gradually covering every inch of the matches.

The feeling was as if I had an extra pair of hands, which allowed me to clearly perceive the texture and hardness of the matchstick wood, and to knead and shape it at will without any hindrance.
