Organ rental company in another world

15. A thunderclap sweeps across the land

After Norn freed himself from his body, he intended to carry it to Onsk.

As it turned out, this Fury didn't follow the usual route, and Norn couldn't find any trace of it on the main road back, so Norn gave up looking for it.

Seeing that his brain's magic power had increased due to his use of lightning magic, he decided to stay in this body a little longer to add more magic power to himself.

But carrying his own body was really inconvenient, so he wanted to find a secluded place to hide himself.

Norn searched for a long time and finally settled on a location in a cave.

Just as I was thinking about how to hide, I heard Karentin's pig-like scream.

"Aren't these the two who were trying to steal the mission from Onsk before? What are they doing here?"

Norn stared at the two men with his pale eyes, trying to scare them away. After all, Norn didn't know if they were good or bad. What if they remembered his hiding place?

Karentin slumped to the ground, his eyes tightly shut, gambling every second that he might become a corpse.

Austin hadn't read the strategy guide, and fearless in her ignorance, she drew her sword and charged straight in.

"Ber? This woman is so reckless!?"

Norn raised his arm to block, the blade striking Barnabas's black scales, the crisp sound echoing through the cave for a long time.

actually……

It can't be split open!?

Austin's eyes widened, her face filled with shock.

She couldn't believe that her proud swordsmanship couldn't even cut through a stinking monster, so she slashed several more times.

Even after his hands were numb from the shock, he couldn't leave a single scratch on Barnabas.

"How is this possible!" Austin stared in disbelief at the monster before her, tears welling in her fiery red eyes from fear.

At that moment, Austin felt a wet, soft sensation on her wrist. When she turned around, she saw a tentacle binding her.

Immediately afterwards, several tentacles arrived, tied the two of them up, and tried to drag them back.

Seeing this, Norn quickly lowered his body and pounced after him, his arms swinging rapidly into countless black lines, tearing off all the tentacles.

As new tentacles continued to follow, the magic crystal on Norn's chest emitted a purple light, and a bolt of white lightning shot out from his palm, instantly making the entire cave blindingly bright.

boom!!!

After the deafening sound, a burnt aroma filled the air, and many pebbles and dust were shaken down.

Ok?

Strange, what's bothering me?

Norn didn't experience the exhilarating feeling he had anticipated, like that of a snake spirit, even though he usually felt very comfortable after using magic.

Norn brings up the brain panel:

[Location: Brain]

[Level: 1]

[Special Abilities: Magical Inspiration, Addiction Immunity]

[Magic value: 23]

It turns out my brain has evolved again. But that's good, so I won't have to go through withdrawal symptoms when I go back.

Norn reached out and pulled the two still-stunned people up, then his index finger crackled with electricity.

Karentin thought he was about to be electrocuted, and his legs went weak, causing him to collapse to the ground.

But Norn simply beckoned to Austin with his finger, signaling her to bring the orb of light from the illumination spell closer, and then used the sparks from his index finger to weld a few words onto the rock wall:

"Get out of here!"

"You...you can understand us?" Austin asked in surprise.

Norn nodded.

"But the outside is teeming with monsters, we can't get out..."

Norn was taken aback when he heard this, and ran outside to take a look.

Good heavens, it's a massive monster migration!

All sorts of strange and bizarre monsters marched past in a grand procession, with tentacles occasionally falling from the sky to snatch them away.

Norn returned to the cave. Although Karentin had calmed down considerably, he still became so nervous when he saw Barnabas that he couldn't move.

What monster doesn't kill people?

Even if Barnabas is not harming itself now, it doesn't mean it has no ill intentions towards humans. Otherwise, how do you explain the human corpse it is carrying?

Karentin looked at Norn lying on the ground to the side, but seeing Norn's chest rising and falling rhythmically, his mind went completely blank.

Norn raised his arms and punched the rock wall repeatedly.

He smashed the rock wall into pieces of rubble, then carefully placed his body inside and covered it with more rubble.

To prevent suffocation, Norn pulled out the bamboo tube he used for catheterization and inserted it into his mouth before burying his face in it.

The two people beside him looked at him with suspicion, thinking in unison: Does this monster need to marinate people before eating them?

After doing all this, Norn's fingers sparked again as he wrote on the wall:

"I'll cover your escape, but you're not allowed to come back. If I find out, I'll kill you."

"No problem! I wouldn't come to this godforsaken place even if you begged me!" Austin smiled. "You look scary, but you're actually quite kind."

Norn stepped out of the cave, but since they were all monsters, they ignored him.

"A thunderous roar swept across the land!!"

Norn raised his right hand, and the magic crystal on his chest emitted a dazzling purple light.

Boom! Boom!! Boom!!

……

Several bolts of lightning struck the ground simultaneously, and the world seemed to turn into a broken LED light, flickering continuously with the lightning.

In an instant, the forest in front of them was razed to the ground, trees fell and burned, and charred monster corpses littered the ground. Only a few of the stronger ones survived.

But they were quickly eaten by the octopus on top of them.

Not content with just eating these, the octopus then set its sights on Norn.

It stretched out its enormous tentacles, which blotted out the sky, and hung above Norn's head. Then, thousands of hairy tentacles drooped down, trying to bind Norn like a dumpling.

Norn didn't hold back, unleashing several bolts of lightning that shattered its large tentacles, causing blue blood to gush out like a torrent.

The horrifying octopus, in pain, quickly retreated, and Norn pressed his advantage.

The muscles in his legs bulged and throbbed, almost bursting through his scales.

biu~

Norn struck the octopus's head like a bullet, and a wave spread across its face, causing several human faces on it to shrink as if they felt pain.

"It's not over yet!"

Norn mobilized a massive amount of magic power, and a giant bolt of purple lightning descended, slamming into the octopus's head. The shockwave from the aftershock spread in all directions.

Surprisingly, the octopus did not die after taking such a heavy blow.

It fled in a sorry state, dragging its scorched and flaming body, leaving behind a mountain full of slime.

"My God, this is simply divine..." Karentin exclaimed.

"Not bad, it's starting to feel like a sassy older sister now," Austin said, offering a compliment.

Norn stood on the mountain and waved to the two of them.

The two understood each other perfectly, knowing that this was an urging for them to leave quickly.

"Farewell, Mr. Monster!" Austin shouted goodbye to Norn.

The two quickly crossed the flat forest and disappeared into the dust in the distance.
