Norn had never been so troubled by his power.

In order to trap himself, or more precisely, to trap this humanoid monster, Norn first spent half a day teaching the monkey-faced creature how to tie it up and how to make knots.

Then they were made to tie their limbs together with vines, the other end of which was attached to several boulders.

But this level of restraint was completely insufficient for Norn. Even though the monkeys had intertwined several vines together and twisted them into a thick rope, Norn could still easily break it with a little effort.

The rattan is of poor quality; we need to find something more durable.

In the end, Norn chose the terrifying nautilus that was lying dormant by the river.

These monsters live in the Howling Sea on the seventh level. They are of the demon-devouring type and their eyes can emit magical lasers.

In addition, it has many tentacles hidden under its shell, used for moving and whipping prey, and they are tough enough to go head-to-head with steel.

Norn gave the nautiluses by the river a command: Come here, I'm going to help you lose some weight.

The nautiluses swarmed toward Norn, who kicked them all down, stepping on their shells with one foot and grabbing their tentacles with the other.

With a strong tug, the bundle of tough tentacles, along with some snail flesh, was pulled out by the roots, spraying a large amount of blue blood onto the ground. The nautiluses quickly died.

These tentacles, when fully extended, can reach lengths of twenty to thirty meters, and even after binding Norn, there would still be a considerable amount of length remaining.

This led Norn to devise a method of sealing himself by suspending him in the air.

He first walked around the first floor, gathering more goblins and a few rock dragons as laborers, and then took them to Warren Valley, assigning them tasks one by one.

The human-faced monkey was more agile and was responsible for wrapping itself up like a rice dumpling at the bottom of the valley.

The rock dragon and the goblin climbed up the valley, where the rock dragon used magic to create a foothold for them to attach to. Then they pulled together on the nautilus's tentacles.

Norn, bound like a dumpling, was hoisted high into the air, and his tentacles were then tied to the fulcrum created by the rock dragon lizard.

Then a spectacle that left the expeditionary force speechless appeared.

A gigantic, pitch-black humanoid monster hovered high in the sky, its entire body wrapped in layers of dark red nautilus tentacles, with several tentacles extending outwards and firmly binding it to the cliff face.

Unable to touch the ground, the humanoid monster had no leverage point and could only struggle in the air.

After confirming several times that he was indeed unable to break free, Norn returned to his body with peace of mind.

Just as Norn decided to head back, the expeditionary force arrived.

The scene before them left the several experienced Steel-level adventurers speechless with astonishment.

"Did you do all of this?"

One of the expedition members asked Norn, and Norn nodded.

"By the Holy Emperor! Those tentacles are from terrifying nautiluses! One can sell for twenty gold coins on the market! And you even managed to take care of a few terrifying nautiluses in the process!?"

Everyone in the expedition team immediately felt a deep respect for the young man; one cannot judge a book by its cover.

"But why did you tie him up? Wouldn't it have been better to just finish him off?"

As one of the team members drew his long sword, about to end his Barnabas II mission, a rock pillar suddenly fell from the sky.

The rock pillar went straight into the player's feet, so it didn't look like a miss.

The team member looked up, still unsettled, and saw that several rock dragon lizards had appeared out of nowhere in the valleys on both sides, with goblins sitting on their backs!

Then more and more green heads popped out, looking down at the expeditionary force.

"Are we surrounded?" The priestess in the group clutched her wand tightly, somewhat frightened.

"Monsters teaming up? I've never even heard of such a thing."

"What's there to be afraid of! It's just a bunch of goblins and a few rock dragons, just kill them all, right?"

A steel-level adventurer was completely unfazed, but he soon discovered the problem.

Although the rock dragon lizard couldn't withstand three of his punches, how could he approach them? Should he slowly climb up the valley and then be crushed to death by their rock pillars?

"Homan, don't be impulsive! There's definitely a reason why these monsters are behaving this way. The things brought up by the abyss riot might be more dangerous than we think. Let's go back and report the situation first."

An experienced old mage in the group stopped them, saying that there must be an even more terrifying existence behind these monsters, and that attacking rashly would only lead to their deaths.

"And then you came back?" A large crowd had gathered around Pinas, all of them shocked by the story told by the members of the expedition team.

"What else do you want from us? Have any of you ever seen monsters team up? If it were you, you'd probably be dead by now."

Everyone fell silent and turned their attention to Norn, who was standing to the side.

"This kid is amazing! Even without killing that monster, just taking down a few nautiluses is already stronger than many high-grade steel monsters, right?"

Norn finished his breakfast at a leisurely pace and then warned everyone:

"That monster is very strong, extremely strong. Even if you tied up ten steel-grade monsters, it wouldn't be enough for it to warm up. My abilities can only barely seal it away. You must not go over there until we have truly dealt with it."

Everyone nodded in agreement, completely believing Norn's words.

Norn then turned to Pinas: "President, you promised me I could name any reward I wanted, does that still stand?"

Pinas was startled, then chuckled awkwardly and said, "Of course it counts! My word is my bond! But I meant to try my best, hehe~"

"Don't worry, my request won't be too unreasonable."

Norn is heading to the deepest dungeons, so naturally he needs to choose the best equipment:

When Pinas saw the bill, his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
