American comics: Praising the sun, starting from Gotham!

Bathing in the morning sun can prolong life, and doing good deeds can make one stronger. Xiu En looked up at Gotham's perpetually rainy days, then at the streets filled with the simple, honest "Gotham citizens," and his composure crumbled. "System, are you trying to kill me?!" So, the first thing Xiu En did every morning was to think about how to snatch time from the clutches of death. From then on, Gotham had a strange man. He was physically weak, panting after just a few steps, and coughing up blood frequently. But his words carried weight; a breath of fiery, turbid air could cut through steel, and a flick of his wrist could evaporate everything. "I don't need to be a hero of Gotham; I'm just here to take my rightful lifespan!"
